Welcome to The Dream Witch

My name is Hailey, and I’m so glad you’ve found your way here.

I’m an oneironaut, tarot reader, and green witch with an academic soul—I hold an MA in Comparative Religious History with a focus on ancient demonology. My thesis explored how spirits once seen as divine messengers (daimones) were transformed into the demons we know today. Along the way, I studied the Salem Witch Trials, Vodou, and transatlantic spiritual lineages—tracing the shadows of belief through time.

I am descended from Welsh witches (and Welsh women who might not call themselves witches, but who still work with herbs and crystals, tea leaves and candles), and am most comfortable with the idea of “swynwraig.” A much more positive and modern term for a witch or enchantress.

But this space isn’t just about theory. It’s about practice, too. It’s about the herbs on your altar, the dreams you can’t shake, and the symbols that find you again and again.

I’ve spent years tracking my own dreamscapes—strange, consistent worlds that I return to night after night. Places that feel more real than reality. I can remember telling my parents and siblings about these strange places as we drove to school, and realizing that they did not have these same experiences at night. In fact, they thought I was pretty strange.

Then, last year at a new job, I shared that I had specific places that I traveled to in my dreams — a seaside town with a bookshop that I visit regularly, a strange shopping mall that seems endless, a color sorted department store — and my friends shared that they did to. For the first time I had met others with the same types of dreamscapes. Through this, I came to realize that I wasn’t alone. Others are doing this too. And together, we’re starting to map a shared terrain—what I call dream cartography.

What you can expect here:

If you’ve ever felt like your dreams meant something more—if you’ve ever returned to a place that didn’t exist, but somehow always was—then you’re in the right place. This is for the ones who remember other worlds. Let’s map the unseen, together.

Welcome, dreamer. Let’s begin.
